How was your weekend?
We caught Brave on Saturday night and it was all things Pixar – googey,
heartwarming fun that made the little kid in all of us shed a little tear. Compared to Pixar’s previous masterpieces, Brave tells a much lighter
tale that leans heavily on being family-friendly. Before you dismiss the film
entirely as a film too simple, we would recommend you to watch it for a totally
irrelevant reason – La Luna - the feature short before the start of the actual
film.
We’re not gonna spoil it for you, but we’ll give you a
little hint of what it’s like. Imagine, the coalescence of a thousand honey
stars into a single, glowing moon reflected in the curious eyes of a boy; simply put, La
Luna combines the Little Prince, stars and moon rivers into five minutes of pure, breathtaking magic.
